btw, heard some feedback about their thailand concert... it wasn't that nice, according to some people because it was SUBTITLED. wth... it reminds me of watching dramas with subtitles. harhar.. but hey, it's dongbang, so who am i to complain, right?

btw, just finished Heaven's Tree and it was so friggin sad... the only funny part was the goons! heck, too funny for words. some say the drama's not that good, but i actually like it. aish, me and my weird taste in films and dramas. will be providing a review when i'm sane enough.

and please check out the new fic i am reading... it's so angsty, i love it!! lookie at my reading list. it's a sequel to Sahbel's Confessions of a Broken Heart.. it's jaeho so i read it. you guys know i love JaeHo... The title is Close Your Eyes and Pretend.

okay, i need to get up early for work tomorrow... and don't worry, i willbe providing the reviews of all the korean dramas i've been watching. hehe.. as if i have readers...

i have been doing a drama marathon for the past two weeks. and so far, i've finished "Goong", "I'm Sorry I Love You", "Which Star Are You From?" and "Super Rookie".....

and now, the REVIEWS!!

Goong

Yeah, i know i posted this before and I started raving about it. But in all honesty, I tell you, even though it's soooo damn long (24 episodes), it was all worth it. I love their banter.. and Shin's reserve and non-vocalization of his love for Chaegyung almost killed me. But then, when he finally said that he loves her... it broke my heart. It was on national television during a press conference!! And the kiss!! my goodness, the kiss!!!!

Ok, as I've said in my previous posts, the series is worth watching, but if you can't get your hands on good subtitled copies of the series, I suggest and recommend you read the manhwa.. I am reading it now and it's the same as the live action series itself. But then again, you won't get to see Shin's charms nor Yul's pretty boy looks.

if i were to rate this, i'd give it 4 out of 5 stars.... because there were some inconsistencies in the series... but that is very high, i think, for anyone's standards.

whoever said that the eyes are the windows to the soul lied....
if it's true, how come people only see the smiles and not the tears?
they can only hear the laughs and not the sobs?

sometimes it's so easy to put up appearances that even I am deceived. i let the whole world know that i'm fine when inside i am not... i laugh but i'm crying inside. putting on a mask and keeping it on became so easy that i sometimes forget that i am wearing it.

i guess this is how everything must be... appearances.

okay, i'd like to share the part of the fic that made me cry... i swear, if this thing happened for real, i would shed buckets of tears!!

this is from sahbeL's fic, "Confessions of a Broken Heart"

To the fans, it looked like the leader of DBSK was just bringing JaeJoong a 'welcome back' gift, (with an implied JaeHo moment of course), but within the members of Dong Bang Shin Ki, they knew that the JaeHo was real, and this moment was its official declaration.

As Yunho faced him, JaeJoong's breath hitched in his throat. The butterflies in his stomach were making him emotional.

In silence, Yunho handed him the rose, and then as they stared into each other's eyes, he opened the black velvet box and presented it to JaeJoong.

The screaming of the fans faded in JaeJoong's ears as he continued to face Yunho.
Yunho offered him an encouraging nod, and JaeJoong finally looked down.

It was a simple silver ID bracelet glittering up at him. Not the thick ones that gangsters wore, but delicate and light, which looked like it had just the perfect weight for him.

JaeJoong was speechless as he read the words engraved on the underside of the tag.


"Han Sarang (One Love). JaeHo <3"


He looked up at Yunho, his eyes wide with shock. Silently, Yunho took the bracelet out of its box and handed both the box and his microphone to the waiting Changmin.

He slipped the bracelet on JaeJoong's wrist and smiled at him.

By that time, the fans were bordering hysterical. As JaeJoong remained speechless, Yunho subtly held out his wrist, taking care not to show the fans their secret IDs.

He wore a similar bracelet with the tag hugging the inside of his wrist and the rest of the bracelet fastened securely.

Slowly, Yunho turned his hand and wrist, so that the underside of his wrist subtly faced JaeJoong.

"Han Sarang. JaeHo <3" it read in barely audible script on the outside of the tag.

JaeJoong reached out and slightly flipped the tag to see the underside and saw the words engraved bolder in black script.

Yunho smiled at him and took his microphone back from Changmin.

"Welcome back, JaeJoongie-yah," he announced aloud in Japanese and then stepped forward, throwing his arms around JaeJoong.

The fans were practically falling out of their seats with JaeHo overload, and had given up on trying to control themselves, succumbing to the urge of screaming hysterically with excitement.

But JaeJoong was beyond being concerned.

…Yunho was hugging him on stage…in front of everyone.

He felt a warm breath reach his ear and then a soft whisper from Yunho caught him and successfully took hold of his heart taking it forever and for all eternity.

"Saranghae, JaeJoongie-yah." Yunho breathed softly. "…Chongmal Saranghaeyo."

Silently, JaeJoong lifted his arms and finally returned Yunho's warm hug with one of his own. JaeJoong felt his eyes slowly drift closed as Yunho subtly nuzzled his hair.

He savored every moment and wanted to remember it forever.

He wanted nothing more than what he had at that very moment and it was the best feeling in the world.

"I love you too, Yunho-ah. With all of my un-broken heart… I love you too."
